Is an Intel Q8300 enough for Android Studio?

Will a system based on an old Intel Q8300 processor (16 GB RAM + 7200 rpm HDD) be able to develop in Android Studio?
Or does the processor need at least an i5 with 4 cores?

It is better to take an additional SSD.

I use on E8400 + 6G memory + SSD. Doesn't fly, of course, but you can work. The emulator is especially slow, but this is just easily solved by debugging on the phone.
