Is AdBlock blocking Ya.Metrika?

Never asked this question before, just found out. When adblock is enabled, requests to the yandex metric are blocked.
Two questions:
1. Did this happen recently (September 2019) or has it been like this for a long time?
2. Is it the same situation with GA?

1. For a long time, for example, uBlock has been blocking for about half a year already.
2. Yes, absolutely the same.
