Is a CDN logical for an offline intranet?
Good afternoon, this is not a question but I would like to hear an opinion.
There is an offline intranet with web servers hosting various websites.
Most sites use jquery, bootstrap, font-awesome, etc. similar libraries,
and it turns out that everyone keeps all this for themselves.
The question is, how logical is it to organize a certain CDN inside to store all this in one place.
In general, the essence of the concept of CDN is rather different, in faster delivery to the client, depending on its location, and there seems to be no such problem on the Intranet at all, but rather, it’s just interesting that he said nonsense, or the question is basically stupid, namely
- Copy to some share on the Intranet - yes, use it, what's the question?
