Is a 23" (1920 x 1080, 16:9) to 29" (2560x1080, 21:9) monitor worth it?

Hello.
Perhaps someone has a practice in moving to a 21:9 aspect ratio monitor, is it worth it?
So, at the moment I have:
- Asus N550JV 15"(1920 x 1080)
- LG IPS237L 23"(1920 x 1080, 16: 9 )
, remove, make new functionality, etc.).
I want to change the monitor to LG 29UM67-P Ya.Market
Why I want to change:
- the monitor is sometimes buggy, it turns off by itself
- it was already under warranty twice, the second time I got the same symptom and then they replaced the power board
- after 3 months it started to turn off again
In general, I am very pleased with it, if not for these moments, but if I change it, then I choose a monitor with 21: 9 for myself, because I think that these ~ 600px will be useful in work
Tell me if anyone has experience with such a move (share your impressions )
even if you have no experience, I will be glad to hear your opinion and recommendations
Thank you.

At work, I have a 23 "(1920 x 1080) monitor. An old but good 17" (1280 x 1024) monitor was released - I put it next to it. Very comfortably. Let's say, on a small one, TotalCommander, Word, Notepad open in full screen, on a large one - Browser, Photoshop, QuarkExpress.
So - the more pixels, the better. And 2 monitors is even better.
