Is a 2.1 soundbar suitable for watching 5.1 movies on TV?
Hello!
I want to buy LG 42LB67 TV, normal sound!
The thing is, my TV seems to have three speakers, a subwoofer and a Dolby Digital decoder, but the sound in movies with 5.1 sound just sucks! And it's not the quality of the sound itself (I'm not such a gourmet), but the problem of the discrepancy between the volume of special effects / music and dialogues. The special effects and music are just SHOUTING, and the dialogue is not a damn thing to hear. Moreover, the TV even has a function of Automatic volume leveling (but it doesn’t really help, maybe just a little).
The question is, will regular 2.1 soundbars fit, like this https://market.yandex.ru/product/10962564/spec?hid...to solve this problem? It seems like they should emulate 5.1, although there are exactly 5.1 soundbars, but this is a slightly different price category. Why is there not a word about this in the reviews and reviews, as if people are interested in anything but watching 5.1 movies on TV?
Can anyone please clarify this point for me? :) Well, to advise specific models of soundbars or home theaters in the price range up to 17 tr. ?
PS: The softest thing is when I came to Eldorado and asked to play some 5.1 movie on the 2.1 soundbar, they told me that they can’t do this, you can only turn on the music. Moreover, the soundbar is a complex technical device, and if it doesn’t suit me, you can’t just take it back to the store. And none of the consultants, of course, has any idea how a 5.1 movie will sound on 2.1 soundbars...
