Iphone and Ipad on iOS 8 drops connection via OpenVPN Connect. Is there a solution?

iOS 8 drops connection via OpenVPN Connect.
I've tried both on iphone and ipad.
Installed the latest firmware.
VPN client: OpenVPN Connect (1.0.5)
When you turn on the phone / tablet blocking, after 1-2 minutes, the VPN connection is disconnected by iOS itself.
When the blocking is removed, the connection is instantly restored.
For Android, there is also OpenVPN Connect, which works like clockwork and without interruptions.
Help find a solution.

Look in the settings it looks like battery saving ... (as far as I remember there is, keep the connection even with the "black screen of Malevich"
