The surest way is to take and make exactly your problem separately on Fiddle, and if there is no problem there, then the problem is not in overflow: hidden; I can be wrong, well, how many years I've been typesetting, never overfow: hidden ; did not work on iphone4 and above, I'm sure the problem is elsewhere, check on Fiddle exactly this moment
