IP switch for serial (COM) port? Or what is the name of the device and where to buy?
Dear colleagues. I came up with the idea to make remote independent access to several devices controlled via a serial port. To manage and remove reports from these devices at any time of the day, etc.
The problem is that I am not aware of devices that provide access to several COM ports via an IP interface.
I found only these comrades in Google www.networktechinc.com/srvsw-term.html
but they are not very cheap and they are not in the Yandex market :(
Maybe I'm asking the wrong glory for the search ...

or you can make something like a bundle from a router and some kind of dev-board.
or you can do this - take a router with a USB host, put openwrt + ser2net on it, connect a usb hub into which you can already plug USB2COM adapters, and then configure their forwarding through ser2net to the appropriate sockets :)
