IP Board 3.4.6. How to make a list of private blogs in a forum visible to everyone?
Hello!
Given: A
forum on the IP.BOARD 3.4.6 engine, where N users of group X are registered. Each of the users of this group maintains a blog (using the IP.BLOG add-on). Each blog is hidden from other users by setting the access level "Private Blog" in the settings, while the blog is visible only to the author and users to whom the author has granted access by name. Any other users, when going to the list of blogs, now do not see a single blog in the list. The entire list is visible only to admins and super moderators.
There is a task:
To make the list of private blogs visible for all users, but that the ban on their reading remains. Now on the forum, for a passing user, one gets the feeling that the forum is dead, and the blogs are empty.
It is not possible to implement the task using the settings of the forum or the IP.Blog application, since there are simply no such settings. As I understand it, you need to change the code in the style of the template (Appearance > Manage Styles and Templates > Manage Templates > Edit Style), but I don’t know exactly what.
Maybe there is someone here who can help. I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.
