Investigated Font Missing Dialog Box in Photoshop?

Hello. I ran into the following problem in Photoshop:
in general, when I inspect a font, if it is not installed, then a dialog box appears with the name of the font and some kind of warning there, like: the following fonts are missing and offers: fonts substitution will occur;
If you press: ok, then the font, for example, Open Sans is replaced by Mirriad pro, but in theory, if you then press Esc, you should exit the font research mode and the original Open Sans font will remain, but in my case, I still have Mirriad Pro . I need to return the original font when I click on ESC. How to set it up? I am using Photoshop 2014.

This is not a bug of your particular distribution of Photoshop, it is a feature of the program. For display, all layers are stored in a raster, and for changes, it is converted to its format (in this case, text), and since The required font is not in the system, there is a conversion to the available fonts. Perhaps in future versions psd will store the used fonts in itself, but so far this is not the case.

Well, this is understandable, but on my laptop, when the ESCAPE key is pressed, the element under study returns the original uninstalled font, and does not completely replace it with its default one, as in this described problem.
