Interruption of communication in Skype via wifi through a D-Link DI-524 router
There is a D-Link DI-524 router. In Skype, when making calls, the connection periodically disappears for 10-60 seconds when a computer or laptop is connected via wifi. This failure was noticed regardless of the relative location of the computers and the router (close / far from each other).
I would like to know how things are with other routers during voice communication in Skype over wifi, indicating specific models.

indicating specific models.%any bugless router% - no problem.
D-Link DI-524 is a buggy piece of hardware! How many years I have had it - so many years I have been suffering! Constantly hangs, overheats in the summer, when three laptops are connected, the Internet starts to slow down, bueeeeee
At the first opportunity I will throw it in the trash and buy something more adequate.
I have a Zyxel P-2X, and I use SIP<->SKYPE for voice, it works without problems ...
I have been using D-Link DI-524 for three years. There are no problems with Skype.
Had the same problem on Dlink DIR-300. Reason: packet loss. Solution — transfer to solve the bridge.
I had a similar problem on d_link (can't remember which model). It turned out that the matter was not even in Skype, but in cutting down the Internet for a few seconds. In that case, I returned the router to the store.
