Internship in the USA?

I am a student from Ukraine. I want to get a summer internship in the USA, in the field of Computer Science.
What are the options besides big companies like Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft?

For graduate students, you can break into all sorts of research laboratories. For the underground, everything is much more complicated, since there are many people who want to take a person from the other side of the planet and it is unprofitable.

You are almost certainly too late for this summer. The process of paperwork is usually lengthy, and all positions are sorted out somewhere by January.
By the way, the big companies you mentioned are very, very good for internships. Think about it: going to a no-name organization to “wash test tubes” is not how you want to spend your summer.
