Internet speed is 100Mbps and slows down online video. Why?
Hi all. Connected optics with a speed of 100 Mbps. Speedtest shows different speeds from different servers, From 10 to 100 Mbps... The torrent client gives out almost all 100. But the trouble with watching online content... When watching HD video in 720 and 1080 format, the brakes. Videos in 480 quality also have to wait for a long time to load before viewing. It can be seen that the Internet channel is used by no more than 5% (video download speed is 1-5Mbps), depending on the quality of the video.
What could be the problem ? Tired already ...
Hardware: Intel Core I5 2.3 GHz, 6GB Ram, Intel GMA 4000.
The situation is the same on different computers.

the same trouble: 100mb, i5 laptop, vidyuha 1gb, all right, but the online video slows down, and not on all sites, try testing on different sites and with different browsers, as I understand, files 720 and 1080 are given very hard. reached the end to sort out the problem
Arik , joker270691 : gentlemen, would you go to the forum of your city or provider to flood with such questions. This resource does assume some basic technical knowledge, including how websites work in general (and preferably VoD over HTTP services).
I had and still have the same thing from time to time!
The first thing to understand is that the Provider has nothing to do with it!
My Internet was of normal quality and 100 and 50 Mbps and the video lags when the video stream is uploaded, it happens when the upload is in a constant stream But NO MORE THAN 3.1 Mbps! The video stops logging when the subload starts working in the form of Big PEAKS, i.e. Subloading takes place for several seconds at a speed of 15-40Mbps and then the speed drops to ~ zero, 5-10 seconds and then reloads 15-40Mbps (peak) and so on.
Second, I definitely found one of the reasons. Limiting the upload of online videos is the adguard ad blocker (maybe others, but so far I have not noticed it)! After installing it on different browsers, after some time or immediately, the video began to "log"!
Third, Perhaps Second Reason It's Antivirus! I'm not sure about this yet.
When this happens to me and it’s simply not possible to watch the video, then I do a forced reboot of the router (the Internet is through my router), and when nothing helps, then the last thing remains, I call the provider and ask to reset my settings. in order for that program that blocks the video stream to "lose me".
