Internet from a socket?

There is an office with a very cool renovation, but the network cable is not routed to the offices. It is not allowed to spoil the design with boxes. Wi-Fi breaks through poorly - the walls are thick. There was an idea to use the Internet from the outlet.
Does anyone have experience using it? Please share.
There are no special network requirements. There are 12 cabinets and 12 computers, the speed of 5-10 Mbit / s is quite satisfactory. Users work only in the browser and in Skype.

I share my experience. Horror and nightmare! I will never try again. There was an attempt to make a grid at school on Zyxel PLA400 devices in 2010. Part (about half) worked normally and stably, the other part - constant problems. Drops in speed (down to some very small numbers, it's impossible to work) and loss of the link. Apparently, it had something to do with the organization of the wiring at that school - some segments were done normally, some were not. It all ended with a regular wired network and a long sale of more than 20 used devices. Perhaps the old wiring is to blame (the school is also old, with thick main walls. Therefore, I wanted to do without drilling them), perhaps inexpensive devices, perhaps a large number of them. Be that as it may, I would still try to connect 1-2 places in this way, after preliminary testing,

If telephones are wired over 8-wire UTP, then the simplest thing is to run 100 Mbit Ethernet over two pairs.

What a cool repair that communications were not provided for? In general, I would ask this question to your existing providers. But having spent money on equipment for this, it would be better to install a cable, because telephones are installed? I had the same story, but there was a building - a building, wi fi fell, spent once on 500 m of optics and forgot about the problems.

I have been using it for over a year due to thick walls. “Modem” mode -> sockets -> “Wi-Fi point”
The speed is stable 30 megabits that the provider issues.
Ping to the modem is stable (min/avg/max = 4.292/5.247/6.257).
As an option, of course, put a stronger Wi-Fi.
If all 12 cabinets are one after another, push cheap repeaters into every 2nd or 3rd cabinet.
