Installing windows server 2008 r2 on hardware raid 1?

The system unit has 2 hard drives combined into a hardware raid 1.
The resulting disk was divided into 3 parts.
I can’t install Windows on it, when I try to select any of the 3, I get an error
Windows installation on this disk is not possible. Your computer's hardware may not support booting from this disc. Make sure that the controller of this drive is enabled in the BIOS menu of the computer.
what is the problem?

Perhaps RAID is not hardware.
Although Windows is perfectly loaded with software RAID1, at least made by regular means.

now OS put in raid? I remember earlier it was customary to put the OS on a separate disk, the data on the raid, now how about this?

it depends on whether the bios is able to boot from this controller and whether special drivers are required in order for the contents of the raid to be visible, I had a case of 2 in one, I had to boot from a separate boot partition on the hard drive outside of the raid (in the days of xp it was)

if you have already installed the same OS on the same hardware before, then remove all partitions from the mirror just in case, disassemble ride1 in the controller bios, recreate ride1 and try to install again without breakdown.

I disassembled the raid, formatted the disks, put the axis on another hard disk, now I'm thinking about whether to collect 2 hard disks again in a raid for data.
