Installing Ubuntu alongside Win 7?

When installing Windows, I divided the disk into 3 parts C, D, E + Windows created 1 more system partition. Now Ubuntu is complaining that I can't have more than 4 partitions.

So for some reason you have 4 Primary sections, which is strange. Show the disk manager from win7
In theory, you should have one primary for Win7 + 3 extended ones for it.
Ubuntu also wants a primary partition, only there can be only 4 of them in the MBR and as many extended ones as you like.
