Installing manjaro lunux next to windows?

installed Manjaro on a disk partition with Windows 8, Manjaro starts up and nothing more. In the terminal I enter update-grub, there is only a Linux system. gparted has Windows partitions. So what could be the matter if there is a hornbeam?

update-grub does not see windows partitions to boot.
it is worth driving the disk for errors
and you will probably have to google how to manually connect the boot from the Windows partitions.

Upgrade windows 8 to 10.
Enable the Linux subsystem in it. WSL.
