Installing Linux (Ubuntu), what's the problem?

It costs Windows 10, I want to install Linux Mint in parallel. There was a problem with the installation. The problem with the sections, as you can see from the screen - there is free space, but the allocation buttons are inactive. I think it's because there are too many partitions on the disk. you can only create 4 main partitions on a disk ...
I would reinstall by draining the data to another disk ...

you most likely have an MBR partition table (maximum 4 primary and crutches in the form of extended ones)
the easiest way is to convert MBR to GPT, tyts
