Installing Linux on a laptop with two video cards, what are the pitfalls?

I want to try out Linux, in the future, if I learn at least something, I have a desire to try out Kali.
The laptop has two vidyahi, the first is intel, the second is nvidia. Will there be any "unpleasant" situations after installing the image? Both Linux and Kali.

If you are not going to play games on a laptop with Linux, then pull everything out on the integrated one easily, but you can install drivers for your video card. Fortunately, Google is full of guides.
Kali is the same Linux with a set of programs.
