Installing an SSL certificate?

Hello.
I'm struggling with installing a client SSL certificate in the browser.
On the server I generate a key, a certificate and collect it in PKCS12. And I give PKCS12 with the Content-Type: application/x-x509-user-cert header.
Everything works fine in opera 12, but Chrome swears at the certificate - Error 207 (net::ERR_CERT_INVALID).
The root certificate has been added to the store.
Couldn't find much information.
Maybe someone already solved a similar problem? It doesn't matter to me where the key and certificate request will be generated - on the server or on the client, the main thing is that it would require a minimum of effort from the visitor.

in my case, it helped when I additionally added the certificate to "trusted publishers".
