Installing a memory module. Why won't the monitor turn on?

Hello. There is an ASRock N68C-S UCC motherboard. It has 2 ddr2 sticks of 512mb each.
I decided to put one bar ddr2 1gb pc5300 dimm, and was surprised - the monitor did not turn on. I thought that the problem is in the memory bar. I took a working ddr 3 2gb 1rx8 pc3 samsung 10600u as it also supports the board, but the result is that the monitor does not turn on again. I put back 2 strips - it works. Bios reset.
Tell me what could be the reason.

First, find another power supply and install it in place of yours. Look at the result.

If the new strips are obviously working, then there may be a simple incompatibility of the strips and the motherboard, despite the newest BIOS. Rarely, but it happens

This board, like all other combo boards (with slots for both DDR-II and DDR-3), supports only one type of memory at a time. This is clearly stated in the instructions.
