Installation options 1C?
Good afternoon.
Need help choosing a 1C configuration for installation at the enterprise.
The situation is this, there are 5 computers that will work in 1C and there is a separate computer that will act as a server.
5 computers that will work in 1C are already quite old, it seems like one of them has only 512mb of RAM.
The computer that is planned for the server has 8gb of RAM, an AMD dual-core processor with a frequency of 3Ghz and a 1tb hard drive.
The question is, how to properly configure this whole scheme?
I suppose to put a Windows Server to raise a terminal server there and there seems to be no problems. Plus, updating the platform itself is easier. Use Yandex disk or any other cloud service as a backup and copy the databases to flash drives or an external hard drive once a month.
I wanted to install Linux, but there are some crutches with an rdp session. Additional software is needed on the employee's computer. Correct me if I'm wrong.
But I also read about the fact that 1C can work in general through a browser and it doesn’t matter what the web server will spin, whether it be IIS Windows or Apache under Linux.
Actually which of these options is the best.

Not enough RAM on the server. I usually think like this: 2gb per rdp user with a base of 20gb.
1s I would use the file one in the case of rdp. In this case, it is better to put a separate ssd under the base.
In general, everything is unique, it depends on the size of the database, what will be done with it, and so on.
Rent 1C in the cloud - you will remove a lot of problems from yourself. The main thing is that the Internet is stable.
Based on the existing conditions, technically your option is quite acceptable. Just count, just in case, what shines for you there - "petty hooliganism" or "in especially large". :-) Maybe well, what for, such an office?

The brakes will be hellish. Of course, it depends to a large extent on the 1C configuration, but don't expect what will fly.
As a backup, use Yandex disk or any other cloud service
Why not immediately drag it to the tax base, since they immediately decided to merge everything?

There are no crutches there, freerdp in server mode, the standard rdp client of Windows
, it seems that only the principle of "elusive Joe" will help you out, since you immediately merge all the accounting :) Well, the amount of damage would be calculated just in case - Windows, terminal licenses ( yes, yes, they are separately licensed!), 1C... For the latter, they can be pulled off especially harshly - if we don’t care about the loss of the Americans, then they can dissolve them into stripes for the domestic manufacturer :)
