Install mint and use it fully like ubuntu?

I started to comprehend the linux world, before only Photoshop stopped me, but now at work I stopped using it at all.
And Windows is already just sick, these metrics that sometimes take away 70% of the CPU are just ... the look of ubuntu doesn’t attract me at all, this gnome just blew out, so I’m looking towards mint , it seems to me more friendly, yes, of course, you can put the environment, but it’s not quite the same

without a multi-bookaf: if you put a mint, will everything also work like a tambourine or the guides will no longer fit and it will be necessary to cut differently?

It’s possible, Mint, I tried both using Ubuntu (you can’t live uncomfortable), and mint (you need to adjust it, through the GUI, I’m comfortable). Still, "magic spells" from Ubuntu work, although it is often easier to find a solution right away for mint.
Now I'm writing with mint cinnamon, I like it, I practice ...
PS Although, of course, there are many (from the heels) bottlenecks that you need to know about based on experience.
