Increasing your Instagram request limit?

I subscribed to real-time updates:
instagram.com/developer/realtime/
but after adding more than 30 subscriptions, I started getting

I wrote a letter to the developers about increasing the limit, I wanted to know if anyone else managed to contact instagram and persuade them to increase the limit?

Alternatively, you can use curl, but not as it is used in the API, but at the usual address, log in if necessary, and use simplehtmldom.sourceforge.net/ or just regulars to get what you need.
