Incorrect mouse operation in 3d programs and games via RDP. How to fix?
I have a powerful Windows 10 PC at home and use it as a remote desktop via RDP.
I use RDP to watch movies and surf the Internet on other devices (TV with a connected thin client), to work from the office, and so on. RemoteFX enabled, hardware graphics card working. Therefore, it is even possible to run games and 3d programs. Works fine (the channel of the Internet and the local network at home allows).
But the mouse does not work at all in 3d programs and games, it behaves simply chaotically.
After reading a lot of information and finding several instructions, it was not possible to solve this problem.
I tried:
- Transfer the mouse via RemoteFX, there is an instruction on the Internet. This method does not work.
- Tried to use additional software to transfer the usb device. Usb network gate and similar. The mouse is transmitted perfectly, but does not work in the RDP session, but works on the locked screen of the PC to which it is connected via RDP. Maybe you can transfer its control to the RDP session? For example, you can transfer the gamepad this way and it works fine.
Are there any other ways to solve this problem with the mouse in games and other 3d programs?
