In which zone is it better to register a domain?

I want to register a domain name, but in popular zones such as .com .ru they are already registered in advance, although they are not used, unless registering a domain through is not an option.
So I want to hear your opinion on whether to register .co or .pro or continue to search for a free domain in the .com zone on the subject of gadgets? "I've been suffering for two days." the name consists of 7 letters the initial name is Mad the second value is a separate name, so as not to spam here.

And the point is to suffer, because it’s not the domain name that makes the content, but quite the opposite.

It depends on what audience the site is addressed to.
Ordinary users (not programmers, sysadmins and other geeks) are not very aware of the existence of different domain zones and remember the domain name without the zone suffix, while the suffix for all domains is assumed to be the same: Americans .com , Russians .ru , Finns . fi and so on. That is, if you host a site on a domain, relatively speaking, foo.ru and tell German users about it, for example, then many of them will search for your site at foo.de , and if you host a site on bar.de and tell Russian users about it, many of them will look for it on bar.ru.
Therefore, if your site is addressed mainly to a Russian audience, then .ru ; similarly , .ua for the Ukrainian audience, .by for the Belarusian audience, and so on. However, you can host the site on a domain in some other zone, but in this case, you need to register domains in the zones that are most familiar to the main audience of the site, and place redirects to the main site address on them.

Maybe I screwed up, or something.
I added a site to Google / Yandex, a domain in the .cc zone, so my site is still not indexed
