In which city to move to work as a system administrator?
In connection with the bankruptcy of the holding, in whose daughter I worked, and the desire to develop, and not just row the loot and kill the body for wear and tear, I decided to quit my current job.
Himself from the provincial village of Primorsky Krai. I was lucky, I worked in several northern regions in the west and in the center of the country (Komi River, YNAO).
Decided on specialization - Linux system administrator.
Experience with Linux - 2 years.
The main goal:
Move to another city where IT is well developed, and get a job where there will be more experienced colleagues, from whom I can learn along with reading books.
Secondary goals:
2. Learn Python / Django, make a couple of your projects and as an additional. earnings to use these skills.
1. Improve English.
Initial capital - 400tyr.
Having analyzed the vacancy "Linux system administrator" on hh.ru and excluding Moscow / St. Petersburg, I came to the conclusion that Novosibirsk / Kazan are promising, but the salary is higher in the first.
Vladivostok is completely excluded, because there are fewer vacancies (there are stupidly none), and housing / food prices are much higher.
I would like to ask for your advice regarding the choice of the city / region in the whole country.
UPD:
After reading the reviews and carefully going through the vacancies on headhunter, I realized that apart from our two capitals, there is not much choice.
The choice fell in the direction of St. Petersburg.

Very subjective (many will have their own opinion and I agree with them in advance): IT is more or less alive in the capitals, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar.
Try Novosibirsk. Now housing prices have fallen, a room / apartment in the metro area can be rented within 15 tr. Plus, 300 rubles a day to eat - your capital will be enough for the time you look for work, taking into account any force majeure.
In Msk it will be easier to find a job, but housing / food will be much more expensive.
