Under VMWare Server 1.x it works well, I did not notice any difference with the physical machine on versions 6-8. True, there is a nuance: if the host media has a 64-bit kernel, there is a problem with input / output in xterm via ssh on the virtual fryah. There are no problems at all in the VMWare Server Console.
