In what software can you make "moving parts"?

Good afternoon.
We need software in which you can make such movements / connections of parts / spare parts with given real sizes ...

If there is some software that is simpler (in terms of not so heavy-weight like 3D max, etc.)
For example, I want to cut pieces of wood, assemble some some kind of cabinet...
Assemble some kind of your own mechanism with real dimensions (centimeters, meters, etc.) and turn it in the software before use. Like what goes in and out. Then implement.
Software tested in its own skin, so to speak.
Thank you.

If it is simpler, then, in my opinion, FreeCad is not bad, for animation and assembling together the Assembly2 module is installed.
3DS Max is still more for modeling, and not for parametric design.
I have quite complex mechanisms turned out to do.
