The main test frameworks are Java. Scripting in Python.
In 99.9%, in an adequate company, automation will be done in Java, and for a number of tools (for example, load testing - there is a Python scripting language). Reading a book on the basics of Java and Python will suffice. Further, at work, you will figure out what and how - there, in general, it is not difficult.
There, the main work will be at the tester-developer level, so that you are given bindings to pull. Well, set up the test framework itself. But most of the time it's already done for you.

In the requirements for the candidate, this can mean anything, depending on the recruiter's imagination.
Mainstream languages in automation and development in testing -> Java, Python, JS (+C# for Microsoft stack).
Other languages are also used, but less frequently.
Which one to use is the decision of the team, in general there is not much difference.
In addition, it may be required to work with the database (write queries, including SQL), work with analytics (JQL or analogues, for example), write bash scripts to solve certain problems.
What a particular recruiter had in mind is known only to him, but in general, the stack of QA tools used is quite large.
