In the latest version of Node.js, module build norms don't require Python and MS Compiler?
I'm just starting to learn node. tried to install socket io, mongo db. norms work without python and compiler. looks like npm now downloads binaries for Windows

The node is installed and always installed both from source codes and binaries. And besides the node, projects have many dependencies on npm libraries. Each npm module decides for itself whether the compilation will be from source or the binaries will be installed immediately, the Node.js version can in no way affect the installation of npm modules and their authors, who do whatever they want.
