In Sabayon 8.0 with Gnome-shell on the top panel where the clock still has the day of the week, how to remove it?
I decided to switch to a Gentoo-based distro, chose Sabayon 8.0 with Gnome-shell, now I'm getting used to it. Distr really like it, but there are some roughness, for example, it is not clear why screwed, the day of the week in the clock on the top panel. I don’t know how to remove it from there, it wasn’t like that in other distributions with Gnome-shell, I hope one of the inhabitants of Habr will help!

The default fedora also shows the day of the week. Climbed into dconf-editor (org.gnome.shell.clock), but did not see any items there to display the day of the week on the panel. I suspect that it is easier to write your own clock applet.
