In order to get a junior web development job, what do you need to know (and to a greater extent be able to)?

At the moment I know html, I know the basics of css, I go to web developer courses, thanks to which I learned the basics of php, I got acquainted with the tortoisesvn version control system! In the future, in the same courses, we will learn the basics of JS, get acquainted with jQuery, etc. in general, as we are told, we will know the basics of everything that is needed for work! we will also create our first portfolio project! So it seems to me that all this knowledge, namely experience, is very little for a junior! Tell me, how did you develop? I would like to "fill" my hand on real projects, but where can I do this? Just do not advise to get a job, etc.! how to do it at home. conditions?

To be honest, no one knows what a junior developer is. More precisely, each company decides for itself. If you want to get a job, just go to interviews as a layout designer - if you are adequate, then you will definitely be hired and trained. And then the salary will go up.

You need to be able to go to sites with vacancies and not be afraid to go to an interview. Each company and project may have slightly different minimum requirements. Read real vacancies and requirements in several offices in your city, and get the most useful answer for yourself.

Well, if you don't want to get a job, do something at home yourself.
Why ask a question if you don't want to be advised?

Nevertheless, I advise you to create several resumes on a sufficient number of services, I still do not have enough experience or skills. After six months of working in the office (before that I had not completed a single order, I only had a very bad portfolio and bewilderment, and at the interview they were looking for the necessary logic in me and didn’t even look at my work), I freelanced and gained more skills and now they took me back to another office for training. The main thing is to try and be self-confident, otherwise picking up skills at home can lead you into a dark corner of irrelevant knowledge and incorrect wording, for example, using a visual shell (tortoisesvn) under the guise of a version control system (git). There are many skills that are easier to acquire from experienced hands, and they will gladly give them to you.
