In OcStore (almost the same OpenCart) there is a problem with logs, errors are no longer written to the file, how to solve?
How to solve the problem if the site on OcStore stopped writing errors to the log file, no matter what the file name is, and what rights have not been set?
Has anyone come across this or something similar? And tell me how to solve this issue?
I don’t even know where to start, in general I’ll tell you everything in order. The situation was like this: I go to FTP and get acquainted with everything /
I added my 3 files (C, V & M), there is a white screen as always, I climb to the logs via FTP.
The log file is not small, I do not want to drag everything every time.
So I rename the file like I always do. Well, how to create a new one and everything is ok.
But it wasn’t there - after updating the page, the renamed file is supplemented with a newbie with a couple of bytes.
Surprised why there is no new file, I just create a directory in the current directory and drop the log file in there. I refresh the error page again, and nothing.
I climbed into the administrative panel and checked the file name, the original file name was written there, I decided to replace it. The file is not created, through the admin panel in the logs is empty.
I created a file with the same name as I indicated in the admin panel, changed its rights - the result is the same - it does not write.
I put the old file in the right place, gave it the old name, and put it back in the administrative panel - it does not write.
I played around with the rights again and set the rights to 777 for this file and its directory - to no avail.
Tell me where to look next?

Some kind of mysticism, the logs just started working on their own ...
I didn’t touch anything close, at that moment I was editing the view of one of the new plugins.
Errors began to be displayed on the site, I first checked a couple of values, and then I woke up with the thought: "Stop, errors are displayed."
If no one has any suggestions for some reason, everything could have happened, then I will close the topic.
