Importing Android project into InteliJ idea?

Downloaded the project https://github.com/googlemaps/android-samples . I open it in Idea, it offers to import from gradle. I press ok and I get Resolve error: failed to find build tools reversion 23.0.2. I have already updated all the packages installed in the SDK manager, but the problem remains.
Why the project is not imported, what could be the problem?

Make sure you have the required version of Build-tools installed, highlighted in the screenshot.
If not, install via SDK Manager. Build-tools installed through the studio interface may not be picked up right away.
