Implementation of the Layout Editor
A link to the layout editor slipped through here the other day ... Actually, the opinion of the public about the use of this is of interest. At the moment, I have one project in its infancy, which is a slightly stripped-down copy of the functionality of Qt Designer, implemented using jQuery Ui. At the input, we have an editor similar to Qt Designer (separate blocks of the site act as widgets, but this is the case ... you can also correct it for the same form elements.), where the process of forming the layout actually takes place. The output is an HTML+CSS page. The project is in a raw state, because there was little time, and doubts began about the profitability of the undertaking.
In general, doubts about practical application. Initially, it was planned to use this functionality as a module for CMS, but the idea was bent ... There are developments - it's a pity to lose. But if there is no point in this craft, then what for.
