Immediately learn to code for the Apple Watch?

Or is it necessary to first master the production of softkeys for the iPhone first? And how to choose language in xcode? Or only swift is relevant?

You need to learn Swift anyway. Because, in an iPhone and a watch, there is more difference in the interface elements, and the logic of the application itself, it is still plus or minus the same way described in the algorithmic sense and does not depend on the device.
That is, to make it clear, conditionally, for example, a sports application for running, only outwardly it is displayed differently on the watch and iPhone, but inside everything can be implemented to a certain extent in the same way, the same stopwatch, the same GPS track, the same data entry into memory (except that the pulse is added in the clock, but this is just another sensor).
In addition, there are applications for watches with an iPhone part, and you still have to master the iPhone, although I admit that you may not plan such. But in any case, I don't think there are such programmers who can only for hours :)

In order to code, you must first learn a language.
You can write in Objective-C or Swift.
If you are a beginner, then Swift is preferable, and now less and less is being coded in Objective-C.
