Are there push notifications in ipad browsers?

We made push notifications from our service to Internet browsers. They work everywhere (on the web and mobile browsers chrome, safari, firefox), but they don’t work on the iPad. We call the push subscription window through the button in the personal account. When you click on the call button to subscribe to push notifications on the iPad, nothing happens. Tried both safari and chrome. I’ll say right away that notifications are all on, the settings also don’t seem to interfere.
Could it be that iPad browsers don't support push notifications?
