IIS, how to make HTTPS work?

I have a 2012 R2 server with IIS configured, can't get the local site to work over HTTPS.
I create a Self-Signed certificate, in the site itself in bindings I create https with the specified port (the port is open, telnet listens to it), indicate the previously created certificate. I open the site on https. A warning pops up "There is a problem with this website security certificate" and there, if I click continue, an error pops up.

•Make sure the web address https://localhost:4444 is correct.
•Look for the page with your search engine.
• Refresh the page in a few minutes.
And so with any site on this server. I honestly looked for a solution here, I studied the buzz and Yandex. I couldn't find a solution. Help.

If the certificate is self-signed, then it will naturally not be trusted by the browser. In order for https to become "green", you will have to add it to the trusted list on each computer from which the site will be opened. Let me remind you, the certmgr.msc command.
