If you use Linux and Windows on the same computer, will the security of accounts for sites increase?

If you use Windows for any needs, and put Linux as a second system and use it only to enter Internet banking, mail and other important accounts, will it be safer for accounts?

if you focus on reliability, then already:
- a separate computer (on a vskidku issue, maybe even a raspberry)
- then a multi-boot. what does Linux have to do with a flash drive and insert it into a cold computer (after Windows is finished, it’s also really possible to de-energize upd for a few minutes !!! extract it after a complete shutdown of Linux, and only then start Windows /upd )))
- just a multiboot from an encrypted disk/ section, but also cold!
- further probably virtualka - tench under Windows. but already vulnerabilities are possible. with any hypervisors
- wsl I think is even more vulnerable. but wsl2 is less than wsl. but it can be more comfortable (the whole line is exclusively personal subjective experience)
well, another IMHOas a subtotal, the absence of backups on third-party media (flash drives, clouds (encryption is highly desirable!)) creates much greater risks , but
if you have reason to suspect threats (you have really large amounts of money in your accounts, or something else) then in general, you correctly attended to the issue

good luck

There is absolutely no difference. The main thing is to update the OS and software (in this case, the browser) in time and use strong passwords. After all, if a hole is found in a browser, it is highly likely that it can be used in Linux, and in Windows, and in MacOS. A lot also depends on the user. After all, phishing and social. nobody canceled engineering.

Three crazy answers, it's necessary!
In security, it's pretty good to be a "shadow for evil" - not like the 95%.
Then they will find a hole in your browser - but they will exploit it based on Windows or Android, and break off on the line.
Encrypting a partition has NO security value at all when the partition is already mounted.
And in order to "quietly mount" it from Windows, you first need to install drivers into it and generally foresee that you have such a partition. The probability that some Trojan crawling into Windows will do this is exactly zero. Unless you are personally attacked, which is a completely different story.

You can put the 2nd windows next to it, but encrypt its entire working section until it boots.
Task: to prevent the first windows (during its operation) from seeing the file system of another.
Additionally, for the second one, unmount all partitions of the first windows (just in case) and cut the rights of the working user.

even the use of a separate browser under a separate user for banking will help.
in the end, social factors will be more important than technical ones.

It is very likely that yes, it will be safer that way. Especially if the partition with Linux is encrypted and there will be only the minimum necessary set of fresh software.

No, it's unreliable. If the Trojan has penetrated Windows, then it will not be difficult for it to quietly mount the Linux partition and stealthily pull out your browser profiles, along with cookies and passwords. Dual block for the purpose of protecting banking makes sense only if you put Linux on an encrypted partition.
