If mobile phones are so powerful, why aren't they made into computers?
This is where I became interested. I have a device in my hand, which seems to be 8 nuclear and 3 GB of RAM, there is a decent video processor, which is very good. However, I can’t just attach a monitor, mouse and keyboard to it and program it, although I used the console inside the phone and did not notice any brakes.
It would be generally cool, I came to work taking only the phone, plugged it in and went to work. And do not need these laptops.
Is it difficult? The maximum that I have seen is stupid fakes of turning from a phone into a router, a webcam or just broadcasting a screen, which is not at all. Which, as it were, is rather strange, it’s the same as turning an engineer into a call center operator.
I saw about ubuntu doc, but they didn’t take off, which is a pity.
Who can see or was able to set up and use their smart as a portable PC, discard the guides. Thank you.

1) 8 cores of an economical phone processor are not even equal to 8 cores of a desktop processor
2) For several years now you have been able to broadcast video on a big screen from your phone, you can work with a full-fledged keyboard and mouse, there is also special software. These technologies have already managed to be born and die. https://help.blackberryrussia.ru/page/view/resheni...
3) Nobody needs this except for niche things. Because it's still slow. For Vim programming, it will be fine. For programming, use IDEA - no longer.
Patamu shta Windows does not go to them.
there are such solutions for a long time.
in principle, any smart device with an hdmi output can simply be connected to a monitor.
Claudia, mouse, printer and the rest of the harness is hung on the bluetooth, the network on the waffle. wireless charging.

And hundreds of phone models can already do this.
but android as a desktop OS is not yet very convenient / prepared.
