What for?
If you do not divide and reinstall on a single disk, then the files will not be lost anyway
When installing WIndows, starting with Windows 7 - it is always offered to save files. And if the disks are not formatted, then all your data will remain.
Times when divided disks into sections - a relic of the past. It doesn't make any sense or benefit.
Data will not be lost during reinstallation, unless you specifically delete them.
And there is absolutely no difference where the data will be - in C or in D.
