I want to get into scripting. Where to begin?

Tell me where to start learning how to write scripts, programming is hard.
Usually I take ready-made scripts from the Internet.
Preferably some literature. Thank you in advance.

shell scripts are sooo primitive, so nothing more than man bash is needed. Just practice. If you want something more serious, I would recommend reading "Learning Python" by Lutz, and then "Programming with Python" by the same author.

I advise you to first write small simple programs to "train", at least 10 programs and it will be easier. When you write something more, you will know what is better and easier and what is worse and more difficult.
Do not judge strictly, this is how I studied ...
And do not look at my Russian

To begin with, you need to decide. WHAT scripts do you want to write
?
If you know how to use the Linux console, then you know how to write on a bash with a dictionary.
If you haven't encountered the pearl yet, then forget about it.
In general, apparently you need courses in python, they are like dirt. Even on mobile
