I want to get into game programming - what is the learning algorithm?

I want to do game programming with Unity. At the moment - I'm going through the 16th level of training on JavaRush (this is all my programming achievements so far)
As I understand it, you can't do without learning C # (for the same understanding of Unityscript) - how much do you need this language?
Javascript - as I understand it. for Unity it's alpha. omega and all the other letters of the alphabet (that is, the main emphasis on this language?
Java - why is it there and to what extent will it be needed?
Actionscript?
An artist friend, for example, says that their programmers almost never use sharp. everything is done in Javascript / Actionscript (make indie in 2D)/
help me figure out what's what?

If you want it in Unity, then definitely C #. It's just that everything rests directly on the game engine.
