I want to create a project. Direct. Can data be written to a magnetic card?
Good evening, I am developing a theoretical project. I am an amateur and an amateur who needs to understand the topic. So, is it possible to program a card reader in such a way that it not only reads, but also writes data to the card, plus sends certain data to the server? Perhaps you can use not magnetic cards, but some analogue of metro cards (if these are not the same thing). Should I use another device instead of a card reader? Tell me, if it is possible, how difficult will it be to create? After opening Google and reading for a couple of hours, it became clear that if I was not directed in the right direction by those who understand the topic, my brain would explode. Thanks to all

Why would you write data to it? You need to write the data to the database and check it there for compliance with the read key.
Well, or turn to smart cards based on chips or rfid (readers just know how to write data)
