Hello, I downloaded this damn notepad ++, opened a text document where everything was displayed and read normally, there were no problems with the encoding, in general I open a text document through notepad ++ and I see an incomprehensible font, change the encoding in notepad ++, then save and open it again, and nothing, then I open it with an ordinary notepad and see kryakozyabry, what should I do? how to return the normal encoding.
I tried opening it through the Stirlitz IV program, it determines the encoding and makes it normal, but after long experiments it turned out that the program did not give results.
Maybe in windows 7, there is a folder where the last running text files, copies of files are stored. ???

it happened that the notepad opened as you say when it was saved in utf-8 with BOM. Open where it reads normally, create a new empty file and copy everything there if changing the encoding does not help
