I learned how to create websites, but I don’t have a “designer look”, how to get it?

Good day.
I learned how to create sites based on someone's PSD layouts, but when I start creating a site from scratch, a rather "ugly" creation comes out of my head.
I saw people who almost automatically create beauty (website, drawing, etc.)
How to learn how to choose colors? How to make really cool solutions pleasing to the eye?
Can someone share personal experience or throw useful literature.
I know about the option of working with a designer, but I would like to have such a skill myself.

Disagree with previous speakers. The frontender should have at least a minimal "sense of beauty". I also do not agree with the thesis that "it is either given or not."
Grab a book on UI and UX and get enlightened.
