I did not understand a little Lenovo ThinkPad died on the 540 series?

Cry from the heart!
I did not quite understand. Am I the only one who thinks the Lenovo Thinkpad era is over?
No, wait, I'm looking at the 540 models, reading authoritative forums and I see that they made something out of a great laptop, a sub-notebook at a great price.
By the way, I have already come to terms with the fact that interfaces began to be cut starting from the 500th series, we don’t live in the Stone Age enough for the entire UDB3.0, okay, to hell with it with compatibility for ± 4 years. Ate survived the change of the keyboard, which for 10 years has established itself as the best clave in the world, since I liked the new one in the 530th series for its softness, I don’t know what’s in the 540th. What a crappy dented touchpad, put my UltraNavs back in my place. Where is my pleasant backlight, of course I write blindly, but the backlight illuminates the space and my eyes get tired less. Where are my performance indicators in their usual place, are they out of date since the release of the SSD, when they stopped blowing the HDD into the light bulb? Why did they change the connector of the docking station, why didn’t they like the docking station?.. Where is the expresscard 54mm, I have a soundblasterdoes not connect. Is there really so little space in the case?
And also, as I read, they want to cut out the brackets in the next series, well, damn it, I don’t know. Just because of these brackets that do not break for 4 years, I would buy a laptop. They do not even need to be tightened, and this is with my extreme pace of mobile work, here, there, here, there.
And yes, I would also like to advise them to cut out anti-water protection. Yes, it really helped, I spilled a glass of water, not counting the fact that I was hardcore coding in the rain, squelching the keys
Tell me if this is so, or am I the only one who thinks conservatively?
Phew, everything has been said.

ThinkPad unfortunately with each new series is getting worse. Either the keyboard will be worsened, or the body will be disfigured.
But nevertheless, it turns out that after spoiling the yato, it returns after 2-3 series. So there is no definitive diagnosis.

It seems that I don’t see a tendency to adequately notice my DELL LAT 6520, DELL doesn’t do these anymore. I once crushed a steel heating radiator with mine, but the laptop doesn’t care! I was waiting for 540 lenovo, but disappointed ...

The same feeling, I look forward to each new line with hope and every time I think "well, maybe they will come to their senses?" are replaced by "well, damn it, I thought it couldn't get any worse, but it turns out you can :("
It started with the T510 when they started to "improve" the beautiful classic keyboard, because of which I, in fact, took my T500. Well, then it gets worse and worse .. For myself ,
I decided to stay on the T500 as much as possible (with x64 Windows, 4Gb of memory and SSD, it’s quite a modern laptop), but when this period ends, I don’t even have any idea in which direction to look further.
