I'm writing a chrome extension. A page was loaded, for example yandex.r* - by pressing a button in popup.html, you need to get data from the yandex.r* page. Is this done through local storage?, for example: the "content_scripts" script is executed - saves data to variables and then to local storage, then I press a button in popup.html and read data from local storage. Or is it done in some other way??? And yes, I also saw a way somehow through message, but I didn’t quite understand how to implement it. Can eat any simple example??? THANK.
