I bought an HDMI cable from Aliexpress in order to connect it to my TV. When connected, the TV becomes the main monitor, but the main one becomes "not active" so to speak. If you pull out the HDMI from the TV, then the image appears on the main monitor. If you go into the Windows 7 Device Manager, you can see only the "active" one (the monitor that is working right now, and not working, is not shown regardless of whether the monitor is connected or not) The main DVI monitor, HDMI TV, OS Windows 7.
